History: (The Ferelvin Race) (Haha get it? Feral...Elvin? Okay I'll stop now.)
The Ferelvin are an intelligent race of elf-like/feral creatures that inhabit the harsh jungles of Dalis'aan. The planet itself is substantially filled with growth, with trees as tall as mountains piercing the sky and boggy waters clogging the forest floor. Poisonous plants litter the ground and fearsome predators stalk its waters. This environment practically bred animals to either adapt or perish, with the Ferelvin being one that adapted exceptionally. They lived in the treetops avoiding any contact with the harsher wilds below and only ventured when needing to hunt. Due to living in a higher elevation, their strength, agility, and acute senses beat many of the dangerous creatures prowling the jungles. The Ferelvin were also spiritual, believing there are nature spirits that wander the lower jungles and higher treetops. Whether it be a short prayer before a hunt or one to ensure the safety of their clan, these spirits were revered to a very high degree as survival is a constant stressor in the race's life. With both physical and spiritual strength guiding the race, it seemed as if nothing would disrupt the balance of the jungles and the unity of the clan. That is, of course, until the humans came into the picture.

The humans lived far from the jungles and have already underwent many technological advances in their society, being able to deal with the wild by mainly eradicating all threats with weapons and violence. At this point they've practically expanded into 60% of the planet's surface, with the rest originally too difficult for colonization efforts. The Ferelvin of course have adapted to these environments, and have never ventured past the mountains due to fear of what may lie afar. Presently, the humans can now venture into these uncharted territories only to discover the Ferelvin have already beat them to the punch, living for centuries in the god-forsaken jungles. Overpopulation and wasting resources have driven humans to find new homes, and they weren't going to let another sentient species prevent them from gaining it. They brought in their guns and their terrible machines and started destroying the jungle acre by acre, ruining the ecosystem the Ferelvin have thrived in. Confused and angered, they consulted the spirits and believed the humans to be part of a prophecy of destruction, one that will bring their whole civilization to an end. War was inevitable, and the Ferelvin prepped confidently as they knew the jungles better than the humans. Unfortunately, it seemed as if the spirits didn't favor the poor creatures, as despite calculated strikes and well-placed traps, the onslaught of machinery couldn't be bested. The Ferelvin made one last stand and eventually fell to the humans' might, slaughtered and broken. The remaining Ferelvin were taken as slaves, and the jungle was reduced to a hollow of what it was before the human invasion.

History: (Velanna)
Velanna Thenidiel was a skilled huntress in her clan, being able to kill big game with only her wits and skills. Well respected, she has done much for the Ferelvin people in ensuring their survival in the jungles. She was a brash, haughty young creature, and she was entirely devout to the spirits she believed that guided her steps. Though one particular trait of hers was regarded a weakness amongst her clan, which was her insatiable curiosity to what lied past the mountains. No one has ever crossed the Misty Paths to see what was beyond, and Velanna wanted to be the first one day to trek through and come back alive. However, her ambitions waned as adulthood came and she needed to settle down, in which Velanna soon wed a male Ferelvish by the name of Zathria Cerav'aan. After the two of them went through the necessary parenting Rights, they soon had a daughter named Saria, and Velanna was almost content with her life until her inquisitive nature came back when she was 30. She set off with Zathria to explore the Paths until she spotted contact with beasts similar to themselves. Rounded ears, paler skins, and lack of a tail made them rather repulsive to look at and undeniably weak, but Velanna wasn't one to judge from looks alone. She and Zathria eyed them cautiously until the humans' started destroying the jungle with razor sharp machinery, killing the plants and shooting down animals foolish enough to cross their path. Zathria was outraged and attacked in fury, with Velanna being too late to stop him. He was shot in the heart and brutally stabbed by them, and soon left for dead on the boggy floor. Filled with anguish and shock, Velanna climbed back to the village to warn her people only to find them already aware of the chaos ensuing. After hearing the prophecy, the Ferelvin soon fought the humans for a few years until they were finally beaten, as they have lost their advantage when the jungle was slowly eradicated. Many of the men were killed but some were spared due to their brute strength, and the women and children were separated and sold off as slaves, including Velanna and Saria.

Years pass and the humans soon settled into what was left of the jungle and built an industrialized city known as Ratthok. Heart broken yet hopeful despite losing her people and her lover, Velanna tried her best to honor Zathria by keeping her daughter safe at all costs, and remembering the honor of their species for whatever the future may bring. After being a slave for four years, however, Saria was soon sold to a different master. Velanna panicked and escaped her own master to find her daughter amongst the thicket of industrial madness that sprawled her old home. After looking and looking she finally found Saria in the alleys, only to witness her perish from sickness due to the pollution and disease brought by the humans. From that point on something went off in Velanna's mind and everything from her past was thrown out the window. The spirits meant nothing to her anymore, after seeing how they betrayed her and let the Ferelvin race become nothing more than pets to the humans. The spirituality and calmness her and her people carried was replaced with anger and resentment, seeking only revenge for the loss of her family.

With direction and purpose, Velanna soon became a phantom in the newly made city of Ratthok, killing important human figures and leaving their bodies hung as a warning sign to the human race. She later formed a rebellion group full of willing Ferelvin to drive the monstrosities out of their home. Over time her and the rebels notoriety have reached the pinnacle of the human council's concern, and wanted her to be found and dealt with. Velanna was aware of this, and decided to send one clear message herself to really show the Ferelvin are a threat. She plotted to infiltrate one of their hospitals and send the message in blood. The blood of human offspring, that is. Her colleagues called her mad to even attempt such a thing, and many were still guided by the spirits and believed this to be complete insanity. She ignored them, and went off on her own and brutally massacred the hospital staff. When she reached the nursery she witnessed various babies and children in the area, many huddled close and crying after what happened. Her heart almost resisted, but she closed her eyes to see the loss of her own people and her family once again. Without remorse, she murdered the children and infants and left the hospital a bloodbath. Velanna then returned to the rebels' hideout after her heinous crime only to witness all of her comrades killed as well. She was then surprised to see the human military pointing guns at her soon after, accusing her of mass murder of the highest degree. With one final trick up her sleeve, she collapsed the hideout under a landslide and managed to barely escape with her life. She wasn't just a serial killer who performed arbitrary acts of murder anymore. She had killed doctors, children, and now various military soldiers. One might call her a monster, but this was all justice in her eyes having witnessed her people die. A wanted criminal with a high price on her head, she attempted to seek refuge wherever she could find, which was difficult considering that the humans were on high alert for her. Not even her own people would assist in hiding her after the terrible acts she's committed. Finding little reason to stay, she fled the city past the Misty Paths that she dreamed to cross long ago, only to find a train station in one of the nearby human settlements. Without thinking, she immediately boarded a train and didn't look back, not even realizing this particular train was famous for traversing dimensions.

Recent History:

Velanna has now decided to travel more in and out of the train. Thanks to a certain artifact, she can make sure that time won't betray her and leave her away from the vessel for long periods of time.

Personality:
- Velanna is cold and calculating, and is more prone to speak with her blades and poisons rather than with her words depending on the person. Years of hardship has tempered her mind and and soul, so it's practically impossible to catch her off her guard.
- She is very patient. She learned this through her many hunts in the past by stalking prey and waiting for just the right moments to strike.
- Although scornful towards the human race, she has little reason to outwardly show it like some rambling lunatic. She'll subtly insult you if you were one, whilst deciding whether you get to keep your life or otherwise.
- Her sense of humor is somewhat present, but usually shown through sarcasm. Many times sarcasm.
- She has grown old, but her curious nature has not left her. With the many species found aboard the train, she would be very inclined to figure who you are and where you come from. Though it's either you let her know, or she stalks you to find out. This curious nature extends to exploration as well, so whenever the train stops at a location she makes every opportunity to meander about.
- Velanna is still very much a mother. A tough one at that. She leaves no room to give you pity, but would be there to help you only if you seek it. (This invitation is extended to only people she cares about)

Skills/Weaknesses:
+ Velanna is skilled with crafting practical hunting tools out of raw materials, and can utilize most small, sharp objects to her advantage.
+/- She can cast simple earth magic passed down from her people. Examples include using plants to ensnare her opponents or making fissures in the ground. However, this magic is very strenuous physically and if used excessively it could incapacitate the body.
+ Acute sense of hearing and extremely swift
- She may only be 36, but keeping up with her wild activities and training has been much more difficult as of late.
+ Expert maker of poisons, healing balms, and explosives
+ Proficient hunter and assassin
- Although fast, Velanna is incapable of taking strong blows and would likely fall in combat were she to be hit.

Stats: (With a base of 1430)

Health: 80
Attack: 380
Magic: 220
Defense: 160

Likes: Nature, meat (especially fish), easily stored blades, exploring, tea, soft music, running, simple accessories, flowers.

Dislikes: Humanity, machinery, idle chatter, stupidity, loud music, smoke, liquor, coffee, guns, heavy armor, unnecessary luggage, sentimentality.

Misc. Facts:
- Flowers are something she holds very dear. In her homeworld, most of the plants were known to either poisonous or carnivorous, save for rare flowers called flo'ranas. They grow in very specific areas of the jungle because of the climate they require to grow in. She would always scavenge for them and share them with the children, as it was something that signified hope and joy during times of hardship.

- If you didn't read the bio, she was once married and had a husband named Zathria Cerav'aan and a daughter named Saria.

- She enjoys quiet, peaceful music and the ambiance of nature.

- She cannot whistle.

- She is rather sensitive on the topic of her ears. (They were rather big even for her own people)

- Don't touch her tail. (Just don't)

RP Sample: (taking place during her encounter with the children in the hospital)

It's been a long journey for the old Ferelvin. After killing the last of the hospital staff, she wandered the empty hallways and finally found time to ponder to herself. It's been quite a while since she's thought of anything really. Velanna had one goal and that was to send a message to the human race that the Ferelvin people wanted payment in blood, and she has done that so many times before. But what was she doing now? What she was doing was something not even her vengeance-seeking comrades wanted part of, and now she was starting to second-guess herself as well.

"Killing children? Velanna...I think you're slowly starting to lose it..." She whispered under her breath.

It took only several minutes until she finally reached the nursery, creaking open the doors to witness children huddling for their dear lives when they witnessed their killer dawn upon them. They were most likely no older than 6 years of age, some even infants that the older children decided to protect. One of the kids opened their eyes and looked face to face with Velanna. She had strong, fearless eyes. Much like Saria did.

"W-why are you doing this?" the young girl exclaimed.

Velanna stood silent, still pondering to herself.

"What did we ever do to you? We....we don't deserve this!"

Velanna blinked several times and continued to stare at the girl. She was undoubtedly the eldest of these children, and it seemed as if she has personally cared for many of them. Velanna knelt and reached for her pocket knife, then clasped her hands together and started muttering to herself.

".....what are you doing?" The young girl asked.

There was no response.

".....are you going to kill us?" she said hoarsely, finally feeling fear grasp her throat.

There was still no response.

"...............are you praying?"

"....Yes," Velanna replied.

"A-about what?" The girl asked not knowing these would be her final words.

Velanna soon stood up and got her knife ready, looking at herself from the reflection of the blade.

"That was my final prayer to my gods, young one. Asking them to forgive me for what I am about to do. Asking them to grant me little remorse if possible."

She readied her weapon and slowly started walking towards the children.

"You....remind me a lot of my daughter. I promise to make this quick and harmless....for all of you."

The prayer was practically useless, as regret still flowed through her veins as the message in blood was finished.
